Irvington Halloween Festival

What a cool dog! He wore that wig and glasses through the entire festival. I love that.

It rained and rained the day before but thankfully it stopped late Friday and was dry for set up through the whole show. Funny as I was going through security at 7am this morning an officer told me to stay away from the "accident" I said oh what happened? Police chase - robbers -McDonalds - one perp caught - others ran free - say no more. Really enjoyed the show even though I was soooooo COLD. Since I came in second place on the poster contest I got a free booth and people were very complementary which was nice to hear bonus was they bought some things too. Which is even better. Good to see old customers and my new friend Candice and Mike! Shout out to ya!

Christian made a great Indian here in Indiana.

This post really has nothing to do with the picture. I am very fond of these though. The photo was taken for an eBay sale last year. Been really busy trying to list more and more on etsy and ebay. No one is really buying anything much on those sites. I know it will turn around but I am bummed about it as everyone is. I got my Midland check for 2 weeks (antique mall booth) and it was $8.88. Arrrrrgh. I go through periods where I have a hard time creating. Need to think about the holidays. Oh well....it is a depressing post :(

More BUTTONS!

So little by little I am listing more and more on my etsy site. Mostly buttons and vintage beads I have been collecting and making jewelry with. But now the time has come to let them go. After the majority of supplies are listed I will start listing the finished products. I am visualizing green around me!

Is everybody Feelin' BLUE????

Like I said in my last couple of posts I love the FALL. So I put out my wreath yesterday and had to take a photo of it. We in Cottage Home are the stopping ground for CROWS during the winter they aren't here yet but should be soon. Not that I look forward to them. So I had to add a crow and some more leaves. It is the first time I have put silk flowers in my window boxes they were all 50% off at Jo Anns and so it is actually cheaper than REAL and I have shade issues. So no Mums this year. Anyway I have a lump in my throat thinking about Ed an my furture with our bills, house and outrageous property tax bills. I am BLUE. I know everyone is feelin the same. I will try hard to get out of the funk!

"The Great Tosser" Juggling life

I may not be a Mother but I understand some things like trying to do it all. Cooking, cleaning, shopping, yard work, making art, making money, helping Ed campaign, going to events when I am exhausted from doing everything else. So I am posting this image for all the women out there who are trying to "juggle" it all. I SOLD this piece in KY but, I have made it into T-Shirts on my cafepress site. Keep on Juggling!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE FALL

When I was at my freind Robbie's house for the Ursuline Art Fair I took a bunch of photos of her collection. This is only a fraction of her Halloween Collection. It is actually her husbands Sam's. I love the old pumpkins. I love the fall all the PUMPKIN pie eating and those crisp fall nights.
