A blogger friend Heather Sleightholm from Oklahoma had asked about the big stuffed pillows that I make and I said let's TRADE! So I got one of Heather's wonderful mixed media paintings from her flapper girl series. "Forever Jeanne". For now she sits on top of a dresser that I have in my dining room along with a folk art piece of carved birds and some of my favorite bowls. I just love having her in my collection. I am living through Jeanne since I would never get a tatoo of my own but love that she has one. Thanks Heather! I love it.Monday, October 5, 2009

she looks very happy at home with you! Glad you love her :) Yes, I live my tattoo dreams out on paintings...I am too wishy-washy to ever commit to permanent ink myself ;)
